Emergency Notification

The University of North Florida will be closed for business on Friday, August 22, 2008 because of weather conditions associated with Fay. Normal operations are expected to resume on Saturday.

UNF Housing Check-in, originally scheduled for Friday, has been rescheduled to Saturday, August 23. Housing Operations plans to utilize the following check-in schedule on Saturday, August 23, 2008 for students assigned to first year areas:

Osprey Hall: 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Osprey Crossings: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Osprey Landing: 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Returning Students assigned to upper-class areas may check-in on Sunday, August 24 between the hours of 10:00am and 4:00pm.

Osprey Cove: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Osprey Village: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Students and their families are encouraged to wait until weather conditions are safe before arriving on campus. Students will be permitted to move on campus Sunday, August 24 and Monday, August 25, if needed. The Week of Welcome schedule has been revised.
