Our mission is to build a lasting relationship between UNF students and the business community. With this relationship, it is our goal to encourage and support students through educational programs and comprehensive local business networks. Through this relationship, students will receive encouragement and support in their educational pursuits. They will also be exposed to local business networks that will provide opportunities for internships, job placement, and the enhancement of professional skills. |

The Finance and Investment Society (FIS) is an organization for UNF students interested in acquiring knowledge about banking, finance, and investment topics. The society offers many activities during the year including luncheons with various speakers, community service & fundraising events, socials, and an annual banquet. FIS is a student chapter of the Financial Management Association (FMA) and has received Superior Chapter designation for over five consecutive years. This is an honor awarded to less than 5% of the 200 active student chapters. FIS members are also affiliated with the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP).
