Eta
Sigma Gamma is a National Professional Health Education Honorary.
It was founded on the campus of Ball State University in 1967.
The Alpha Gamma Chapter is composed of undergraduate and graduate
level students interested in health education and promotion. Here
at UNF,
Eta Sigma Gamma provides students the opportunities for practical
application of health education and health promotion skills through
activities related to their field of study.
Eta Sigma Gamma
is an affordable way to participate fully as a professional health
educator, while providing hands on experience. Eta Sigma Gamma
encourages student members to design, organize, and implement
health programs, both on and off campus. ESG provides opportunities
for students and professional health educators to share information,
ideas, and resources with each other through networking occasions
and guest speakers. The organization provides opportunities to
be leaders and role models. Members are also informed and encouraged
to attend national meetings, conferences, and advocacy events.
