What makes UNF Special? Why might it be right for me?
The University of North Florida is special for several reasons, the first of which is that we are a relatively small state university. We have about 17,000 students (about 1700 of whom are graduate students), and so both our class sizes and our costs are modest. Our in-state tuition is one of the lowest in the nation, and some of our programs have only about 20 graduate students, making class sizes extremely conducive to individualized attention. We are located in a growing urban area; graduate study at UNF is informed by a metropolitan feel, and the vast majority of our programs are focused toward our students' preparation for the sort of high quality jobs that one finds in a vibrant city environment.
