Graduate Scholars Program Awards

Graduate Scholars Program awards are made by a Graduate Council subcommittee composed of three Council members. The criteria used to make the SPRING 2009 decisions were as follows:

Grant applications are evaluated and ranked by a faculty committee.  Successful applications have 1) a clear exposition of the background, objective, and expected outcomes; 2) demonstrate a strong relationship to the student's program of study, 3) have strong potential for the project results to be disseminated to the larger academic community.  The selection committee also seeks, to the extent possible, to award grants across all UNF colleges.  Since funds are limited some worthy applications are not funded.  Students submitting unsuccessful applications are strongly encouraged to apply in a subsequent semester.
