On February 11th, 2015 UNF's Golf Complex was visited by Payla Creamer. Ms. Creamer personally signed autographs and other memorabilia during a silent auction to support the Wounded Warrior Project and Breas Cancer Awareness. During her time with us she also shared 4 Holes with three lucky contestants, her thoughts on what it meant for her to be a professional golfer, provided a demonstation of her skills, and gave youth players and special guests swing tips.

On October 1st, 2014 UNF's Golf Complex was visited by Alexis "Lexi" Thompson. Lexi's focus in visiting UNF was to bring new life into the world of golf by being a role model to junior golfers. While she visited she shared her story of personal growth as a young woman becoming the youngest professional golfer, expressed the dedication it takes to pursue that dream, demonstrated her shills on both the driving range and putting green, instructed junior golfers, and took time for autographs.
(At the clinic with Lexi are two of UNF's students Quinn Benebaugh on her left and Samantha Snder on her right. At the clinic she not only shared her story but her motto: It can happen to you. The picture provided was fron an on-line article by Gary Smits "Lexi Thompson work with young golf at UNF")
