Eta ZetaUniversity of North Florida
Kappa Delta Sorority was founded at the State Female Normal School (now Longwood University) in Farmville, Virginia, on October 23, 1897. Kappa Delta's original ideals of friendship, fellowship, and sisterly love have remained constant and strong for more than 110 years, and the KD sisterhood has today grown into an association with over 200,000 initiated sisters nationwide.
Kappa Delta is proud to have four philanthropy projects - the most of any Panhellenic sorority. These causes include Girls Scouts of the USA, Prevent Child Abuse America, the Children's Hospital in Richmond, VA, and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Panhellenic VP Recruitment: Beth Palmer
President: Bridget Wilson
Hi, my name is Bridget Wilson and I am the President of the
Eta Zeta Chapter at UNF. I am from Lighthouse Point, Florida and my major is
Business (Marketing). I am 21 years old and will graduate from UNF in Spring of
2014. I love my family, friends, and KD sisters and I don’t know what I would
do without them! I joined Kappa Delta in Fall of 2010 and the sisterhood has
made me into the strong and confident woman I am today. In my spare time I like
to ride my beach cruiser, play board games, and eat ice cream! I really enjoy
my current position as President and I cannot wait to make positive changes to
the chapter in any way I can!
Recruitment Chair: Lacey Kachnycz
Hi! My name is Lacey Kachnycz and I am the current Vice
President of Membership for Kappa Delta.
I am 20 years old and am graduating in spring of 2014 with a Bachelor’s
Degree in Community Health with a focus in Health Education. I love my family,
dog and KD sisters and could not survive without them supporting me in all that
I do. I am originally from Ormond Beach, Florida and have six brothers and
sisters. In my free time, I like to walk dogs at the humane society, shop more
than I should, and read mystery novels.
I rushed in the fall of 2010 not only found my home in KD but found a
passion in recruiting new members to welcome in to our circle. Kappa Delta has
given me the strength and confidence to be a leader and I can’t wait to put
those to good use during my time in this position!
