Organization Facts
The Chi Phi Fraternity was founded at Princeton University and came into existence as it is today when three founding orders joined together in 1874. Today, the Chi Phi Fraternity consists of 65 chapters and colonies in 23 states and commonwealths. It exists to provide men with a place of belonging and membership and a framework for growth and personal development throughout their collegiate years.
Founded on the principles of truth, honor and personal integrity, the Fraternity is ever striving to move forward in providing for the needs of our members while helping to communicate the possibilities of fraternity to future members. In keeping with the trends of today's society and students, the Fraternity has made several changes in the recent years. However, none may be more important than the renewal of our commitment to the fraternity's founding principles and the development of today's authentic man.
