Greek Awards
Fraternities and sororities at UNF pride themselves on having high standards of participation and membership. We excel in many areas on the campus, including community involvement, leadership participation, and philanthropic/service endeavors. To recognize chapters that go above and beyond in these categories and more, the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life and the Greek Alliance host the Greek Awards every spring.
Beginning in 2013, Greek Awards are now based off of the UNF Fraternity/Sorority Life Community Standards.
These awards cover all chapter activity during the calendar year: January 1, 2013 - December 31, 2013.
At the end of each calendar year, chapters will participate in the Chapter Review Process. This process is an opportunity for chapters to demonstrate their achievements in the standards areas and other programming. The Chapter Review Process will consist of a meeting between chapter leadership and OFSL staff and fraternity and sorority community leaders. This review process covers chapter activities for the respective calendar year. As part of the Chapter Review Process, chapters will
- Discuss chapter goals for the year and how they were met;
- Provide supporting documentation for standards criteria; and,
- Present additional information that demonstrates excellence in chapter operations.
The 2013 Chapter Review Process will be November 18 - 22, 2013.
2013 Greek Awards Applications - Due January 10, 2014
Applications for the 2013 Greek Awards will be open at the end of October.
