Scholarships are available to eligible applicants with an AA degree from any of the 28 public community colleges in the state of Florida. Awarding is competitive and based on academic merit and/or financial need, leadership positions, community activities, and availability of funds. Eligibility does not guarantee an award.

Scholarships are available to eligible applicants with an intended transfer major of education or engineering. Eligible applicants must complete a min. of 15 credits with the following program GPA: Engineering (3.2+), Education (3.5+). Students must meet all application deadlines and apply for transfer to UNF for the fall or spring term immediately following their FCCJ graduation date.

Applicants must be nominated by the community college. A nomination must be submitted to the UNF Admissions Scholarship Coordinator by May 1 directly from the community college. Nomination packets, including a completed Transfer Student Scholarship application and a letter of recommendation from the community college Office of Financial Aid and appropriate Dean must be sent to UNF directly from the community college.
