| Because funds are limited, students are encouraged to apply for financial aid by the April 1st priority deadline. Transfer scholarships are awarded beginning in the Fall term of each year. Therefore, students beginning in the Spring term must apply by May 1st of their first semester at UNF to be considered. |

Scholarships are available to eligible applicants with an AA degree from any of the 28 public community colleges or state colleges in Florida. Awarding is competitive and based on academic merit and/or financial need, leadership positions, community activities, and availability of funds. Eligibility does not guarantee an award.

Applicants must be nominated by the college. A nomination must be submitted to the UNF Admissions Scholarship Coordinator by May 1 directly from the college. Nomination packets, including a completed Transfer Student Scholarship application and a letter of recommendation from the college Office of Financial Aid and appropriate Dean must be sent to UNF directly from the college.
