Congratulations on your admission to the University of North Florida for the Spring semester.
Whether you are beginning UNF in the Spring term or simply have questions regarding Financial Aid, we hope the information below will help you get started.
If you intend to request financial aid beginning in the Spring semester, you must complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and a Mid-Year Request Form. For information on receiving Fall and Summer aid at UNF, visit the Fall Aid and Summer Aid pages.

What's next?

| Step 2. | Read the UNF Financial Aid Guide for important information on all financial aid programs and awarding criteria. |
| Step 3. | Log in to your myWings account to review and accept your award, a few weeks after you file your FAFSA. |
| Step 4. | Complete any Financial Aid Requirements listed in myWings, by October 15 for timely Spring disbursement. |
| Step 5. | Pay or pend your tuition and fees by the payment deadline. |
What else do I need to know?
- Spring term aid is awarded on a funds available basis. Don't delay in submitting your FAFSA and Mid Year Request Form!
- If you have any outstanding Financial Aid Requirements, you will not receive a Spring Financial Aid award. View your Financial Aid Requirements on the Students tab of myWings.
- Eligibility: Your financial aid eligibility is based on your FAFSA results and the number of hours you take during the term.
- Loans: You must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 hours to receive student loans.

- Spring term financial aid awards are offered based on full-time enrollment.
- Grants will be prorated based on enrollment hours as follows:

- Concurrent enrollment: students must take a minimum of 6 hours at one institution and submit a copy of their UNF Concurrent Enrollment form, Consortium Agreement, and fee slip from the other institution to receive aid at UNF.
- Filling the FAFSA: The priority deadline for each aid year is April 1. We strongly encourage you to complete the FAFSA after you file your taxes each year, by the April 1 deadline.
