Transient Form Process
A student who is already enrolled in one institution and who wishes to temporarily enroll in another institution to transfer credits back to their home institution is referred to as a transient student.

Students must obtain approval from an academic advisor in their home institution before pursuing transient enrollment at another institution.

To receive approval fill out the online transient form using the below procedures:

Step 1: Confirm course is being offered at the University or Community College you plan on attending.

Step 2: Create a PIN number:
myWings → Student Self Service → Student Records → FACTS Pin Mgt. (Create a PIN)

Step 3: Fill out transient information at FACTS website:
College Students → Take classes at another college (Transient Student Form) → Continue → Log-In (Home Institution-UNF, N#, Facts Pin) → Must Select ACE (FR/SOPH) → Complete Form & Submit

Please Note: Course information/number must be from transient school

Step 4: Confirm at the University or Community College you plan on attending if you will need to complete an additional application process (along with transient form).

Important Notice:
Concurrent enrollment/transient student status is limited to 7 semester hours for lower division students.

Exceptions to the above policy:
  • Students completing summer residency requirement at a State of Florida University may be approved for up to 9 hours, HOWEVER students will not be approved for
    7 hours at a community college and 9 hours at a state university so choose your institution and courses wisely.
  • Study Abroad or other Transformational Learning Opportunities (TLO’s).
Send Transcript after Course Completed:
Order Official Transcript once the course(s) have been completed. Send the official transcript to:
