Office of Enrollment Services Processing - Admissions

Within the Office of Enrollment Services Processing, the ES Processing-Admissions team is responsible for all details relating to undergraduate applications, application fee processing, residency, and transfer student admission decisions. The Enrollment Services Processing-Admissions team handles the processing of both paper and electronic undergraduate Applications for Admission from our prospective UNF students and also processes each student’s application fee or fee waiver.

This team is also responsible for the evaluation of transfer credits and accelerated mechanisms (AP, CLEP, IB, and DANTES) and processes all incoming transcripts that students are required to submit during the application process. At the time of the transfer evaluation, courses are carefully examined to ensure transferability and satisfying general knowledge requirements. Our staff members follow the State and University Articulation and transfer agreements when evaluating transfer coursework.

The ES Processing-Admissions team makes admissions decisions for all transfer students (lower and upper), post-baccalaureates, and special students (ie: transients and non-degree seeking). In addition, our team is also responsible for initial residency determination and residency reclassification. Florida residency for tuition purposes decisions are determined by the Florida Residency Guidelines and the State of Florida Residency Statutes.

Students with questions regarding these functions and services should contact One Stop Student Services.
