Program Overview  

The Program offers a combined-skills English language instruction approach for members of the community, visitors and business people during convenient evening hours.   


New Students are placed in one of 4 levels of instructions. Students who fulfill the attendance and language proficiency requirements will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the 12-week course and will be promoted to the next level.

 Course Focus:

  • Social conversation
  • Vocabulary
  • Reading and writing
  • Grammar
  • American English expressions 

Lessons Include:

  • Listening activities                         
  • Pair and group work
  • Dialogues and role play
  • Grammar for social language
  • Real life reading practice
  • Writing for practical purposes
  • Life skills

Classes are held:

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30 - 9:00 p.m.

Placement test:  Tuesday, May 1st at 5 p.m.

September 11 - November 29  

Placement test:  Tuesday, September 4th at 5 p.m.
