Web Guidelines

The UNF Web Style Guide provides guidelines for University of North Florida departments to produce pages for official UNF Web sites as defined in the WWW policy at www.unf.edu/compserv/pol_proc/ppwebpagepub.html.

It is designed to help departmental Web designers create pages or update existing pages. This guide will tell you what is mandatory, what you could — and should — include in your page, and how to put that content into a form that works on the Web. Links are provided to further Web resources.

This guide does not cover the technicalities of the Internet, using a browser (such as Netscape or Explorer) or the HTML used for Web documents. For more help, outside Web resources are provided, as is a glossary.
