Ken McMillan, an associate professor in Communications & Visual Arts, has designed more than 100 coffee mugs. His experience with coffee mugs served him well when he was contacted by Jennifer Madden-Askew who had an idea for an easy-grip coffee mug.

Dr. Matthew Corrigan, director of the Florida Center Public Opinion Research Laboratory, collaborated with Dr. Terry Bowen of the Institute of Government on a telephone survey which shows most Duval County taxpayers will pay to improve achools.

Each fall a faculty selection committee will meet to review applications for the Debra A. Doughty Memorial Fund Scholarships. Debra's parents, Carl and Cheryl, created the memorial last year in honor of their daughter who died of colon cancer when she was 22.
