Donaldson named SBC director

Janice Williams Donaldson

Janice Williams Donaldson has been named regional director of UNF's Small Business Development Center. Donaldson has served in a variety of positions with the Center for the past 20 years, most recently as program director.

She replaces Lowell Salter, who has retired from the Center. Donaldson's responsibilities as SBDC regional director will include managing the Center's training and business assistance programs in a 17-county service area and facilitating student and faculty involvement in the organization.

Dr. Earle Traynham, dean of UNF's College of Business Administration, said Donaldson has proven herself to be an outstanding advocate for small business owners. "Under her strong leadership, the Center will continue to provide high quality services to the business community in Northeast Florida. We are delighted that she has accepted the position of regional director." Donaldson earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and recently completed her MBA at UNF.
