Rewards Program Guidelines
NO PLACE LIKE THIS AWARD
Recognizing that UNF’s brand commitment must continue to be represented
in University publications, advertising, Web pages and merchandise,
the Integrated Marketing Team has established the No Place Like This
Award. The program is designed to reward units that do an outstanding job
of carrying the message of UNF’s commitment to external audiences.
The following guidelines govern the application and judging process:
- All University units (departments, divisions, colleges
and affiliated vendors) are eligible to submit projects for consideration.
- Each project must be submitted electronically (PDF) to Marketing & Publications.
An interactive PDF entry form (found on the IMT Web site) must
accompany each project. (Marketing & Publications will assist
any unit unable to submit in PDF format.
- Projects may include but are not limited
to publications (newsletters, brochures, catalogs), redesigned
Web pages, advertising (print, radio or television, merchandise
or special event programs.
- Deadlines: All entries must be submitted
no later than the last day of regularly scheduled classes during
the fall and spring semesters. All entries must have been produced
within one year of the submission date.
- Selection: Each entry will
be judged individually by members of the Integrated Marketing Team
and given a score of 0 – 10. The
entry with the highest combined score will be declared the winner.
- Judging:
All IMT members are eligible to judge entries but are not permitted
to score an entry from a unit in their division or college.
- Judging
would be done on the basis of how well the project represents the
University’s
brand commitment to an external audience.
- Upon designation of a
winning unit, Marketing & Publications will
prepare an article with photo for Inside UNF and placement on the
IMT Web page.
- Each winning unit will be provided with a $1,000 credit
toward expenses associated with its next marketing project. Funds
will be administered by Marketing & Publications on a reimbursement
basis for documented expenses.
- Units winning an award are ineligible
for consideration for a second award for one year.
- Entries not
chosen initially are eligible to be considered in a second round
the following semester.
