CLEP

General Information

The College-Level Examination Program is available to any one. Any students seeking to CLEP out of a course should review relevant academic policies and check with the academic advisor applicable to their program of study before taking a CLEP test.

CLEP Availability

CLEP is available Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 2:00 PM on a walk-in basis.

CLEP will not be available on the following days:

Thursday-Friday, 26-27 Nov 2009
Friday, 4 Dec 2009
Friday, 11 Dec 2009
24 Dec 2009 - 3 Jan 2010
Monday, 18 Jan 2010
Friday, 22 Jan 2010
Friday, 12 Mar 2010

In order to secure an appointment in advance, the candidate must pay the $15 administration fee and fill out the registration form at the time of scheduling during office hours. You cannot make an appointment over the phone.

Cost

The total cost for each CLEP test is $87.

Candidates must pay a $15 administration fee. The administration fee is payable to UNF by cash, check, or money order and is non-refundable and non-transferable. To download the payment form, click here. This fee must be paid to the UNF Cashier's Office located in UNF Hall off of Kernan Blvd. A receipt of this payment must be presented at the time of the test.

The remaining $72 test fee is payable to College Board by check, money order, or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, or JCB) at the time of the test.

Please Bring the Following

  1. Valid State ID, Driver's License, Military ID, or Passport
  2. Receipt from the Cashier's Office
  3. Check, Credit Card, or Money Order payable to College Board for $72.

The use of calculators or other electronic devices are not permitted. Scratch paper and pencils will be provided.
