The
Undergraduate Academic Enrichment Program offers a number
of competitive grants for improving the quality of intellectual
life on campus. Faculty members may apply for funding to
support activities and events that increase intellectual
opportunities for undergraduate students at UNF.
These activities and events may be associated with a class that the faculty member
is teaching or they may be extra-curricular. Examples of some of the activities
that may be supported are class field trips to cultural or intellectual events,
guest lectures, guest performances, and many others.
The average amount of the awards is $500, although larger amounts have been awarded.
Priority is given to activities that benefit large groups of students on campus.
These grants are not appropriate for students who wish to attend professional
conferences or for student club or honor society activities. For more information,
contact Dr. Mary Borg, 620-1095 or mborg@unf.edu.
