PreMed Program
How do I become a part of the PreMed Program?
Click "Registration" from the list of pages to the left, then
fill out the survey. There is no cost.
What must I major in to get in a medical professional school?
Medical professional schools accept students with a broad range of majors.
UNF does not advocate any particular major as the best preparation.
What courses must I complete to qualify for the PreMed Program?
None. The UNF PreMed Program is not an academic program. There are academic
prerequisites. The UNF PreMed Program concentrates on advising and support
for students seeking medical careers.
How do I become a part of the one of the student organizations?
Attend a meeting to see what the clubs are all about, and ask one of officers
about joining the club. Or come by the PreMed Office (3-2224) to find
out more about the clubs and sign up. Additional information is available

Post-Baccalaureate Program
Does the Post-Baccalaureate Program accept international students?
Yes, international students are accepted into the Post-Bac Program who
are permenant residents of have an F-1 visa.
How long does the Post-Bac Program take to complete?
The Post-Bac Program length varies for each student. Total time required
to finish the program depends on the number of classes needed and the
student's personal schedule. Our program is not formally structured such
that all students begin and end together. Each student's curricula is
tailored to meet his or her needs.
Can I take premedical prerequisites classes at UNF without being
in the Post-Bac Program?
Yes, you can.

What are the costs for the Post-Bac Program?

Fees for charges per credit hour. Aside from the $15 application fee,
there is no cost for the Post-Bac Program.
Am I eligible for financial aid?
If you are classified as a degree-seeking post-baccalaureate student,
you are eligible for financial aid. Please see UNF's Financial
