To efficiently use the available resources at UNF, quotas are applied to campus email accounts. When you are within 5 MBs of reaching your email quota, you will receive a warning from the email system. When you exceed the quota, you will not be able to send email. To avoid reaching your email quota at an inopportune time, it is a good idea to check the size of your mailbox to make sure there is ample space available. This is especially true before traveling or taking a vacation.
If your mailbox is near to or has exceeded its quota, you will need to delete or archive your email. Once you have exceeded your quota you will no longer be able to send email until you are below quota again. You will, however, continue to receive email. The total amount in your email quota includes your inbox, deleted items, drafts, tasks, calendar, and notes.
Current default Quota limits
| At 150 MB -- receive warning |
| At 160 MB -- may no longer send, will still receive messages |
