Who do I contact if I need my phone or phone line moved?
You will need to submit an ITSR - Information Technology Services Request. Call 620-2820 to request that an ITSR be sent to you or stop by Building 15 Room 3101.

I'm having trouble with my phone line - who do I contact?
The ITS Help Desk needs to be contacted. Their phone number (if you can find another working phone) is 620-HELP (4357). Their e-mail address is ITS-supp@unf.edu.

Who do I contact to update the name on my phone or in the phone directory?

How do I make an emergency call?
Listen for dial tone.
Dial 911.
The 911 call will be routed to University Police Department (UPD). UPD will see, on their dispatch telephones, the building and room number from which the call is being made.

How do I make a Florida Network (SUNCOM) call?
Obtain the SUNCOM number fron the on-line SUNCOM Telephone Directory website.

Your telephone must be classified as capable of making long-distance calls.

Your telephone must be classified as capable of making International calls.

Dial 9 + 011 + the country code, city code, and number.

Can I call toll-free numbers?
Yes. Listen for dial tone.
Dial 9 + 1 + (800 or 877 or 866) + 7-digit number.
(SUNCOM will block 800 number calls).

Can I make calling card calls?
Yes. Listen for dial tone.
Dial 9 + 1 + 800 + 7-digit number.
Enter your access code.

Can I make operator assisted calls?

Dial 9 + 00.
Operator-assisted calls will incur a charge.

How do I access voice mail from my phone?
