Linux Colony on DELL

The University owns three Dell PowerEdge 8450 servers which run the GNU/ Linux operating system. In December, 2001, during a long planned migration, these servers replaced three existing Compaq AlphaServer 2100 servers which ran the Compaq Tru64 UNIX operating system.
