UNF IDs are used to communicate with computer systems.  We use friendly email aliases to communicate with the rest of the world. A friendly email alias is a way to personalize your UNF email address. They are easier to remember and make it a snap for others to identify you.

If you have not yet selected a friendly email address,please follow these easy steps.

1. Go to the ITS Self Service page (https://www.unf.edu/app/ess).

2. Login using your UNF ID and password.

3. First, check to see if you have a friendly email alias. Do this by clicking on "View Aliases" from the menu on the left. If the email address listed next to "Friendly" is not what you want, proceed to step 3. If you are satisfied with the "friendly" address that is displayed, you can click on the "logout" button located at the bottom left.

3. To change you email alias, click on the "Create Alias" link on the menu on the left.

4. Choose a friendly email alias from the choices presented. Then click the "Apply" button.

5. Your friendly email alias is now your UNF email address. Click on the Logout link (bottom left hand side).
