As a UNF student,
you receive a UJNF computing account (which we call your UNF ID or "N Number") and password. Computing accounts are general-purpose
unix-based accounts that provide you with access to the following
information services:
-
Free e-mail.
-
Storage space on a UNF server
-
Internet access
through UNF, connecting to the Internet from your computer
in the residence housing.
-
Ability to create your own Web page
(
learn more about that here).
-
Access to online
course materials on BlackBoard (Bb) (if your instructor
has a course set up on it). Students enrolled in a course
that uses Bb receive a Bb account automatically (no request
is necessary).
-
Access to computers in all UNF public computing labs.
Each currently admitted UNF student will have a computing account, which includes e-mail, automatically generated for them.
Students can find out their email account username, change
their password, and set forwarding using ITS Self Service.
Students should
also check out the Policy
on Student E-Mail
