Basics of Study Abroad

1. To help you out on the basics of study abroad, please review our Study Abroad Question and Answers page. Then come visit us at Building 10, Room 2470. We have a number a brochures and print materials that might be useful to you, though you can find most anything you want on the web. We will be glad to meet you and help you find a study abroad program that best matches your needs and interests. Please also check out the other study abroad pages on our web site.

2. There are a number of study abroad options available to you as a student at UNF:

• you can go on a course led by a UNF faculty member, usually during the summer or sometimes during the spring break;
• you can enroll directly in an overseas university;
• you can enroll in a study abroad program at a SUS or other U.S. university and transfer your credits back to UNF; or
• you can pick a program run by established study abroad organizations.

3. To help search out the many different study abroad programs, please spend some time reviewing the sites listed on our Study Abroad Web Sites page. The biggest challenge in study abroad is picking a program--there are too many choices!
