Belize
Student Support Program
- UNF is a member of the
Consortium for Belize Educational Cooperation (COBEC), established in the late
1980s to link post-secondary educational institutions in Belize and other
countries for the purpose of strengthening and expanding their capabilities in
higher education. As a COBEC member, we have reserved a limited number of
out-of-state tuition waivers to applicants from Belize, on a competitive
basis. Interested students must be fully admitted for consideration. For
further information, please review the COBEC
Application and Guidelines.
Non-Florida Tuition Waivers
- Recipients must be registered
students in good standing with the University of North Florida, with at least
one semester of course work completed at UNF. Awards are based on the amount
of waivers provided to the International Center each year and are reserved for
F-1 students. The selection criterion is a mix of academic performance and
financial need, as well as extracurricular and work activities. Students who
apply for consideration through the International Center and are selected will
be required to perform 25 hours of approved community service. For further
information, please review the Out-of-State
Tuition Waivers Application and Guidelines.
