Tuition Exchange Available to All UNF Employees
All faculty, A & P, and USPS employees of UNF are eligible to participate
in the Tuition Exchange Program (TEP). UNF employees can send their dependents
to any of the 530 member institutions as “exports,” and UNF,
in return, accepts the dependents of other members of TEP as our “imports.” UNF
employees whose dependents are participating in TEP pay $4000 per academic
year for the privilege of having the majority of their child’s tuition
waived by the TEP institution he or she is attending (you still must pay
room and board expenses, however). The $4000 that UNF employees pay for
this benefit goes into a foundation account that allows UNF to pay the
tuition (sometimes out-of-state tuition) for the students that we accept
as our “imports.”
A list of participating TEP schools is attached, and it can also be found at www.tuitionexchange.org. If you have a dependent who will be starting college in fall 2006, the time to apply for Tuition Exchange is fall 2005.
More information about the program and applications can be obtained from Dr. Mary Borg, Director of the Undergraduate Academic Enrichment Program, 10/2124, 620-1095, mborg@unf.edu.
