Annual Service Award Luncheon Celebrates Milestones

Almost 70 people gathered at the University Center on January 18, 2007 for UNF’s annual Service Award Luncheon, which was sponsored by the Office of Human Resources.  Janet Owen, Vice President of Governmental Relations, was MC, and guests included honorees, President Delaney and various VP’s from the University.  The luncheon is an opportunity to celebrate milestones reached by employees with various years of service.    

For the first time in the history of the UNF, a 35-year service group was honored.  Also participating were honorees with service ranging from 30 years to 10 years. 

Rachelle Gottlieb, Associate Vice President, Human Resources said, “This is a wonderful opportunity for us to recognize the many years these employees have dedicated to UNF.  We are fortunate to have so many employees with such long service histories.”

In addition to lunch, honorees were awarded a certificate and given a gift.  The luncheon is an event sponsored each year by the Office of Human Resources.
