Special Open Enrollment for Long Term Care
The University of North Florida is pleased to announce a Special Open Enrollment Period for Long Term Care Insurance, offered through The Gabor Agency, Inc. The Open Enrollment period will take place from July 1st through October 31st, 2007.
Long Term Care Insurance provides benefits to those individuals that find themselves in need of assistance in completing everyday activities, due to illness or injury. There are varying levels of care, options and benefit amounts within the plan, all of which can be customized to meet your personal requirements. Your individual cost will depend on your age, the plan and options that you choose. Rates are lower at younger ages, but will not increase, as you grow older.
Long Term Care Insurance policies are offered through convenient payroll deduction while you are employed by the University, and may be continued after retirement or termination of employment, with no increase in premium or reduction of coverage.
Eligible employees may qualify for Guarantee Issue coverage. Coverage is also available for spouses, parents and eligible children, on the same rate basis, by providing evidence of insurability that meets company approval.
