Admissions for International Students

The Honors and Scholars Program at the University of North Florida offers a comprehensive four year program with several options to meet your career goals and aspirations. This is a limited access program and spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage you to submit your application immediately after you have received confirmation that your UNF application has been received.

Any individual interested in applying to the Honors and Scholars Program must first be accepted into UNF by the Admissions department. Once you have received confirmation that you have been accepted into the university and an N number has been issued, you can apply online. The Honors and Scholars Program invites individuals to apply starting in September through May of every year for entrance into the following fall term. The Admissions Selection Committee review process will be completed approximately two weeks following the University’s decision date(s). This is a limited access program. Once we have met our cap, we will no longer be accepting applications. The next time to apply again will be the following September.

Eligibility and Selection Process

To apply to the Honors and Scholars Program at the University of North Florida as an international student, you will need to complete an application online.

With the Application process, you will need to submit a resume and essay online. A resume should have your principal activities and honors in high school, including prizes, scholarships, professional or academic offices held, athletic pursuits, extracurricular interests and activities. This must not exceed two pages in length, and should be set in font no smaller than size 10 font. An essay should explain why you feel you would be a good asset for the University of North Florida Honors and Scholars Program.
