American Red Cross –Purpose of the Program

“The purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program for the lay responder is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to help sustain life and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until advanced medical help arrives. This program offers a choice of first aid, CPR and AED courses and injury control modules to meet the various training needs of those in workplace, school or community settings”.

Adult CPR Certification valid for 1 year.
Standard First Aid Certification valid for 3 years.

Please arrive on time.

Pre-registration is required. You may register in person or by phone. You must stop by our office to pick up a fee slip. The fee slip should be taken to the cashier’s office to pay for the class. Bring your receipt to class. The instructor will pick up your receipts before the end of the class.

**Note:CPR/First Aid Cards will be available for pick in the Health Promotion Office up to 14 business days after class has been completed.
