The Rockefeller Foundation African Dissertation Internship
Awards offer doctoral students from sub-Saharan Africa support for
field research. Priority is given to research in the fields of agriculture,
health, population, life sciences, environment, and schooling. Contact African

The Rockefeller Foundation Re-entry Grants for African Scholars assist in the
professional re-establishment of African Scholars who are returning to Africa from doctoral or post-doctoral

African Training for Leadership and Advanced Skills Project
(ATLAS) ATLAS offers undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate fellowships
for highly qualified Africans to undertake academic programs in the U.S. ATLAS
will provide advanced studies in disciplines critical to development, such
as economics, business administration, public health, agriculture and engineering.
At least thirty percent of the awards will go to women in order to increase
their ability to fill leadership and non-traditional roles in African development.
