The Leadership and Resiliency program is a prevention and intervention program affiliated with the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board, Alcohol and Drug Services. The program focuses on enhancing the internal strengths and resiliency in youth, while preventing involvement in substance abuse and violence, using a three-tiered approach that involves clinical process groups, alternative activities, and community service projects. The Leadership and Resiliency program successfully reduces disciplinary problems while improving both school bonding and grades of high school youth.
