The Incredible Years Series is a set of three separate comprehensive, multifaceted, and developmentally-based curricula for parents, teachers and children designed to promote emotional and social competence and to prevent, reduce, and treat behavior and emotion problems in young children. The parent, teacher and child programs can be used alone or in combination.

Specific groups that can benefit from the Incredible Years program include:

  • Families and teachers with children (ages 2-8 years) diagnosed with Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder and Attention Deficit Disorder.
  • Families and teachers with high-risk children (ages 2-8 years, for example, children living in conditions of socioeconomic deprivation, and/or family distress such as recent divorce, parent death, prior abuse or neglect.
