Summer Learning Programs
Carve out time during the summer for professional development activities to help keep you sharp. All sessions are free and open to UNF faculty, staff and OPS personnel, including student assistants.
Soft Skills - 3-hour soft skills courses divided into five paths: Supervisory, Workplace Issues, Excellent Service, Change Management and Communication.
Wellness - 1 to 1.5 hour sessions through Corporate Care Works.
Technical - 1 -3 hour technical courses in Microsoft Office Applications and Banner.
Book Club - Members of the book club will read "Freakonomics: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything" by Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner, along with incoming freshmen. This will prepare members to participate in activities and lead discussions which the whole campus will engage in during the fall term through UNF Reads. The next meeting will be held on Friday, July 25th from noon to 1 p.m. in the Library Conference Room, Building 12, room 2400. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis and participation is limited.

- Excel, Access & PowerPoint 2007 - Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced 3-hour training.
- What's new in Vista/Office 2007 - 1-hour instructor-led demonstrations. Learn the new look and feel of UNF's next generation of computer Operating System and Microsoft Office Suite. This short, demonstration-only presentation will cover new features and important user functions.
