Fall 2007
CPDT Training Lab at UNF Hall
CPDT has opened a training lab at UNF Hall. The lab contains 24 participant stations along with an instructor station. This new lab replaces the previous training lab at the University Center, room 1059. If you are interested in reserving this lab for your department, visit "How do I reserve a training lab?" at CPDT's "Services" page.
Fall Courses and Programs
This term, through our partnership with Corporate Care Works, CPDT is offering several 1-hour sessions in the areas of conflict resolution, becoming more assertive, change management, telephone skills, team building, managing a multi-generational workplace, reducing holiday stress, and dual career couples. Training is offered during regular work hours and is open to all faculty, staff and OPS members, including student workers, of the UNF community. CPDT will also work with departments to create customized training to meet specific needs.
Regular 3-hour soft skills courses are divided into five paths: Supervisory, Workplace Issues, Excellent Service, Change Management and Communication.
The technical curriculum includes courses in Microsoft Office Applications and Banner. These sessions are 2-3 hours in length.
This term's book club members will read Dealing with people you can't stand: How to bring out the best in people at their worst by Rick Brinkman and The Speed of Trust by Stephen Covey.
See a full listing of the fall schedule. Register early to ensure a seat. For additional information call CPDT at ext. 1707.
