Dr. Malek wanted students to produce cost and material estimates for the renovation and remodeling of Mandarin’s Frederick Billard residence. He took digital photographs of the site using a panoramic tripod, then created QuickTime VR movies documenting the condition of the building. The movies were placed on the web so that students could interact with them. CIRT provided equipment and assisted with the creation of the panos and publishing the material online.
