Dr. Stanley recently authored the book Creating Readers with Poetry published by Maupin House. Accompanying the book is an audio CD of spoken word performances from a variety of sources. Some of the tracks were recorded directly in the lab, and CIRT staff assisted Dr. Stanley in digitizing and editing other tracks from audiocassette, CD, and digital video using Sound Forge, a professional audio-editing program.
