Whenever you change any text field in WebSurveyor you must click the "Apply" button for it to save the change.

How do I change the default row colors for new matrix questions?
Default colors for matrix questions are specified under My Preferences. You can change the header color, odd column color and even column color. Use the color palette icon to choose your colors or type in the HTML hexadecimal value for the color if you know it.

The question library is a collection of pre-created questioned that are frequently used. You can add your own questions to the library.
To add questions to the library
- Go to the question list of the survey containing the questions to be add to the library.
- Check the box next to the questions to be add to the library.
- Click the Add to Question Library button.
To use questions from the library
- Click the Add a new question link.
- Click the Question Library button.
- Choose "custom" in the Library pull-down menu.
- Click the checkbox next to the questions to be added.
- Click the Insert button.

What is the Response Library, and how is it used?
The response library is a collection of pre-created responses that are frequently used. The Likert scale is a good example.
To add responses to the library
- Go to the question that contains the responses to be added to the response library.
- Click the Response Library button.
- Choose the Save to Library option.
- When prompted, give the respose set a name.
To use responses from the library
- Go to the question.
- Click the Response Library button.
- Choose the response set to add.

This is the text that will appear in graphs and charts when analyzing the results of the survey.

How do I ensure all my surveys are accessible through SSL?
SSL is the security technology that ensures no one can look at the survey data when it's submitted. The main benefit is, enabling SSL will prevent browsers from warining survey respondents about security risks.
To Ensure surveys are accessable through SSL:
- In the Build/Edit menu Click on the My Preferences link
- Check the box labeled Ensure surveys are accessable through SSL
Only unpublished surveys will be affected. Published surveys will need to be individually updated.
