Constructing a Professional Poster
A poster constructed for use with a presentation at a professional conference is NOT simply a scholarly paper or a group of PowerPoint slides posted on a display board.

A professional poster should:
engage colleagues and experts in conversation
communicate main points to a diverse audience

Remember that you want to communicate clearly so your audience is not in a FOG. Make certain your poster demonstrates the use of:
Focus: single message or point
Order: info is sequential and in a discernable order
Graphics: relies on images and graphs; text used in moderation
