Send Email enables users to send email to all or select Students, Instructors, Teaching Assistants, Groups, or other participants within a course. Users can create a message, attach a file, and choose who will receive the message.

To send an email using the Blackboard interface, click on Send Email in the Tools section of the course menu or from Course Tools>Send Email in the Control Panel.

Select All Users, All Groups, All Student Users, All Teaching Assistant Users, All Instructor Users, Single/Select Users, or Single/Select Groups.

The subject field is automatically populated with your UNF Course ID. Type your message in the Message field and click Attach a file to add an attachment to the email message. Click Submit to send the email.

Please note: Blackboard will not save a copy of the email; a copy of the email will be sent to the Sender's email address.
