How can I find out which students have accessed course materials in Blackboard?

Statistics Tracking at the content item level allows Instructors to view detailed statistics on content item usage for all course users. These detailed statistics can help Instructors determine how many times the particular content item was viewed and exactly when it was accessed.

Enable Statistics Tracking

View Statistics Tracking

To Enable Statistics Tracking:

1. Select Manage next to an item in a Content area to enable Statistics Tracking.

2. Click Statistics Tracking.

3. Click Enable/Disable Tracking.

4. Click Enable, then click Submit.

To View Statistics Tracking:

1. Select Manage next to an item in a Content area to view Statistics Tracking.

2. Click Statistics Tracking.

3. Click View Statistics.

4. Choose Report Dates and Select All or Select Students and click Submit.

You will receive a Usage Report that you can View, Print or Download.
