HELPFUL RESOURCES >BLACKBOARD>FAQ>TEXT SIZE IN BLACKBOARD

The text in Blackboard is too small to read. How do I make it larger?

To increase the text size in Blackboard, you will need to increase the text size that your browser displays.

Internet Explorer
Option 1: Select View -> Text Size -> Choose larger size.
Option 2: If you have a wheel on your mouse, you can hold down the Control key (Ctrl) and scroll the mouse wheel to increase or decrease the font size.

Netscape
Option 1: Select View -> Text Size -> Choose larger size.
Option 2: Hold down the Control key (Ctrl) while pressing the plus "+" and minus "-" keys to increase or decrease the font size.

MSN and AOL Users
MSN and AOL use proprietary versions of Internet Explorer, which do not give you the option of changing the font size.
Option 1: Minimize MSN/AOL once you are connected to the Internet and then open either Internet Explorer or Netscape, which allow you to change the font size per the instructions above.
Option 2: If you have a wheel on your mouse, you can use Option 2 under Internet Explorer listed above to change the font size.
