I posted an announcement on Blackboard and now it is not there. Where did it go?

The Announcements page was reconfigured in Blackboard 9. The tabular format of the page now includes the following tabs: System, Course, and View All.

When an instructor adds announcements to a Blackboard course, the most recent announcements appear at the top of the Announcements page. Instructors may rearrange the order of announcements by clicking and dragging an announcement to the desired location.

Note: Announcements only display in courses which are available to students. If a course is listed as unavailable, the Announcements will not display to any users (including instructors) in the course.
