Blackboard contains many tools designed to support and supplement learning. There are also many tools available outside of Blackboard to assit with content and assessment creation.

Blackboard Tools Glossary - The Blackboard Tools Glossary provides an overview of the tools available on the University of North Florida ’s Blackboard Learning System. The Glossary lists the major tools and options available in Blackboard with a link to a brief description of what the tools do and what they can be used for.

Campus Pack - Campus Pack is a suite of social learning applications that facilitate active thinking, collaboration, and interaction within the online components of a course. The simple-to-use tools engage students in the online learning experience. Campus Pack tools used at UNF include: Journal LX, Teams LX and Podcast LX.

Respondus and StudyMate - Respondus is a software program for creating and managing exams that can be printed to paper or published directly to Blackboard and other eLearning systems. StudyMate lets you create ten Flash-based activities and games using three simple templates. The Flash activities can be used with any web server or published directly to Blackboard, WebCT CE, or WebCT Vista.
