New Course Copy Procedure

Instructors whom wish to copy materials from a previous semester's course or a DEV course into a current semester course will use a new course copy procedure:

Create an Export File in the course from which you wish to copy.

Import the Export File into the current course.

To create an Export File in the course from which you wish to copy:

1. Login to http://bbarchive.unf.edu and go to the Control Panel of the course from which you wish to copy.
2. Click Export Course under Course Options.
   
3. Click Export to create an Export file. For a package to serve as an exact record, including user records, use Archive instead of Export.
   
4. Select materials to include in the export package. Click Submit to begin the Export process. You will receive an email once this process is complete.
   
   
5. Click Export Course from the Control Panel of the course. You will see a File Download link. Click the link to download the Export file, then click Save to save it to your computer.
   
6. Select a location to which you will save the file. Click Save.
   
7. Click Close.
   

To Import the file into the current course:

1. Login to http://blackboard.unf.edu and go to the Control Panel of the course to which you wish to copy.
2. Click Import Package under Course Options.
   
3. Click Browse to locate the file on your computer. Click Open to add the file.
   
   
4. Select materials to include in the import process.
   
5. Click Submit. The import process will start and an email will be sent once the process is complete.
