Prior to serving as Director of the Center, Dr. Kline was the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at UNF. As Provost, Dr. Kline's priorities were to increase scholarly and research activity and to provide a superior undergraduate education for UNF students based on deepening academic programs and providing a rich set of special learning opportunities for all students. |

Previously he was a faculty member and chair of the Department of Philosophy at Iowa State University, and Dean of the College of Arts and Science at the State University of New York at New Paltz. Dr. Kline also chaired both the Religious Studies Program and the Bioethics Program at Iowa State. Dr. Kline's undergraduate degree is in Biology, from Wake Forest University. |
| His Ph.D. is in Philosophy, from the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Kline's research interests are in the philosophy of science and ethical issues related to science. He has edited three books and published over 30 articles. Contact Dr. Kline. | |
