APPLICATION FOR ENROLLMENT IN CDRC

At the Child Development Research Center (CDRC), we pride ourselves on providing the best care and education for your children. We accept children from ages 2.5 years to 10 years old. There is no charge for enrolling in just the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) program. All children who are enrolled must be fully potty-trained.

Parents who wish to enroll their children at CDRC should come to our administrative offices at Building 49 to pick up an application package and return the application as well as a Blue & Yellow Physical Form from your child's pediatrician/doctor at the designated time. UNF Students must also present a fee-slip showing they are currently enrolled at UNF.

Applications are accepted from UNF Students and Faculty in November for Spring Enrollment and April for for Summer and Fall enrollment. Applications from the General Public are accepted only in April for Summer and Fall Enrollment.. Applications are prioritized in the following manner for Summer and Fall enrollment:

  1. UNF Students
  2. UNF Faculty
  3. The General Public

APPLICATION FOR ENROLLMENT IN THE VPK PROGRAM

In addition to filling out CDRC's application, parents enrolling their children into the VPK program will also need to fill out a VPK application form from The Early Learning Coalition. Parents will need to visit The Early Learning Coalition's office or visit one of their designated enrollment sites (dates and sites are listed on their website) to enroll their child in the VPK Program. A copy of your child's enrollment in the county's VPK Program must be filed with CDRC.


APPLICATION FOR CCAMPIS GRANT

The CCAMPIS grant is available for parents with child care needs and whose children are presently enrolled in the CDRC at UNF. Student-parents may be placed on a waiting list in the event a spot may become available. All CCAMPIS grant recipients must:

  • be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours
  • be eligible for the Federal Pell grant
  • presently enrolled children will be given first priority
